Strategic Planning/Communication Coordinator Position Discussed at Council Study Session

City Administrator Stu McRae is proposing the City add a strategic planning/communication coordinator position. McRae made a presentation before the governing body during the recent City Council study session.

Councilman Andy Patceg also voiced his objection to the proposed position.

McRae said that he did not intend for the request for the position to be an action item at next week’s business meeting, but more so as the City prepares for budget presentations in the coming months.

    Sounds like yet another big government, liberal money-waster of an idea. We have to stop growing gov’t and wasting tax-payer money on ever-expending gov’t boon-doggles.
    Candidates ran on a platform and voters elect them based on their ideas. That’s how you know what the voters want. Their duly elected rep’s speak for them.
    No, the city doesn’t need another big-gov’t, high-taxing, PR shill. Stuey already has that position.
