At their last regular meeting, Sheridan County’s Commissioners voted to deny a vacation request for a public right-of-way in the Downer Addition, as recommended by County Engineer Ken Muller, who was appointed as the viewer in the matter.

Muller explained his findings and his recommendation for the denial.

The proposed vacation was a platted 50-foot wide public right-of-way known as 14th Street between Block 39 and 40 adjacent to Lots 10 and 11 of Block 39 and Lots 1 and 12 of Block 40 in the Downer Addition.

The commission voted to deny the vacation of the public right-of-way.
