Jo Co Commission OKs Board Appointments

Johnson County’s Commissioners have voted to approve Chairman Bill Novotny’s recommendations for appointments to open seats on county boards.

Appointed to the Airport Board was Brian Granger to a five-year term.

Bryan Serres was appointed to a three-year term on the Johnson County Recycling Board.

Jim Dawson was appointed to an unexpired term on the Buffalo Trails Board through 2026.

Kaitlin Giles and Curt Figler were appointed to three-year terms on the Lodging Tax Board.

Megan Boggs was re-appointed to the Mountain Plains Heritage Park Board.

Manny Rodriguez and Julie Baker were appointed to three-year terms of the Planning Commission Board.

On the One-Percent Sales Tax Board, Jim Gampetro was appointed to a full four-year term, and Zane Hengel to a two-year term.

And Scott Rogers and Randy Hepp were appointed to four-year terms on the Weed and Pest District Board.
