Un-Decorating Day at Trail End

What goes up must come down- and at Trail End, everyone is welcome to come and help take down the Christmas decorations that grace the mansion.

Sharie Shada, Site Superintendent at Trail End State Historic Site, recently announced that Saturday, Janurary 11, will be Un-decorating Day at Trail End. “Like decorating day, people will be assigned to a room and work in groups to take everything down. The un-decorating will start at 10 and we’re usually done by noon!” Shada said.

Everyone is invited to join them as they take down the holiday decorations. There are jobs for people of all ages and skill levels. “It goes quickly and is a fun time!” Shada added.
