Buffalo Council to Swear New Members at Tuesday Meeting

Buffalo’s City Council will give the Oath of Office to two newly-elected council members during their first meeting of the year Tuesday evening.

Scott Madsen, who was retained on the council, and Wes Haskins, who was re-elected to the council by voters in November, will be sworn into office at the meeting.

Also on the agenda, Mayor Shane Schrader will present his recommendations for appointments to various city offices and the council will vote on the selections.

Additionally, the council will consider second reading of the Ordinance concerning zoning code and will consider the Basecamp Garages Planned Unit Development.

State Senator Barry Crago is scheduled to talk to the council about the upcoming Legislative Session that begins in Cheyenne on January 14.

And the council will designate the official newspaper, depositories, and renew the city’s property and auto insurance.

The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday in City Hall.
