New Year, New Council

There will be a couple of new faces on the Sheridan City Council in 2025 as there will be a swearing-in of the newly elected governing body members at Monday night’s City Council meeting. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger says the first meeting of the year will be fairly low-key.

The two new councilors that will be sworn-in are Bev Leichtnam and Jack Wood. Councilman Steve Brantz and Mayor Bridger will also be sworn-in at the meeting, as they both won reelection bids. The Mayor talks about some of the initiatives for the City for 2025.

The City Council will hold their first regular business meeting of the year Monday night at 5:30 in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.
