Aaron PalmerSheridan County’s Commissioners considered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the county and Sheridan Memorial Hospital for the use of county funds from the Opioid Settlement Agreement.
County Administrative Director Cameron Duff gave details to the commission at their last meeting.
Duff said although there is no dollar amount attached to the MOU, the county is planning on utilizing about $100,000 annually with this MOU.
He added that the county currently has about $620,000 in their account, and expects to receive an additional $500,000 over the next ten years.
The commission voted to approve the MOU.
