Aaron PalmerA contract between the City of Buffalo and the Buffalo Athletic Club for city employees to use their facilities with the city picking up the cost was recently discussed by the city council.
During the council’s last meeting, the council discussed the matter, saying it was a benefit the city provided to employees for a number of years, but after reviewing the data and finding the low numbers that were using it during the previous year, it was decided it was not feasible to continue to pay for it.
After discussions, the council voted not to renew the contract with the athletic club.
