Professional Services Contract

An award of a professional services contract for work at the City of Sheridan landfill was an item of discussion at this week’s City Council study session. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The administrative and shop building at the City Landfill was recently demolished to allow for the safe and cost-effective excavation and disposal of an old landfill waste trench as part of the existing Landfill Remediation Project. The City Council will soon be considering the award of a contract for the design and construction administration of a new landfill operations building. City Utilities Director Dan Roberts.

Staff is recommending the City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger award a contract in the amount of $83,400, to FDL Consulting, LLC, for the design project. The City Council is expected to consider the item at their next business meeting.
