The administrative and shop building at the City Landfill was recently demolished to allow for the safe and cost-effective excavation and disposal of an old landfill waste trench as part of the existing Landfill Remediation Project. The City Council will soon be considering the award of a contract for the design and construction administration of a new landfill operations building. City Utilities Director Dan Roberts.
Staff is recommending the City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger award a contract in the amount of $83,400, to FDL Consulting, LLC, for the design project. The City Council is expected to consider the item at their next business meeting.
