SAGE Member Pop-Up Show artist reception Dec. 5

Executive Director of SAGE Community Arts Jill Benson made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to talk about the 4th Annual Member’s Pop-Up Show and reception. 

SAGE Community Arts is an organization dedicated to supporting, displaying and promoting local Sheridan Region artists. The Member Pop-Up Show is an exhibit, displaying artistic creations and celebrating SAGE Community Art’s members. 

Benson said the submissions this year are diverse in medium and style, with artists meeting the challenge to show their best. Although the number of submissions was down this year, it does allow for the larger art submitted to be displayed in an open and welcoming exhibit.

An artist’s reception is planned for 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday Dec. 5, at SAGE Community Arts. These receptions give art lovers and buyers an opportunity to get to know the member’s and learn about their works. The Member’s Pop-Up Show reception also allows SAGE to celebrate the many members who contribute to art in the community.
