Aaron PalmerTravis Lawrence, representing the Buffalo Pool Board, gave a report to the city council during their last meeting, giving an overview of what has been happening with the pool during the last four years.
Admissions revenue in 2021 was $37,000; and in 2022 was $42,000.
In 2023, likely due to rainy weather during much of that summer, there was a dip in revenue to $25,000.
This past summer showed a rebound, he said, but it did not come up to the 2022 level.
He talked about where revenues would be going.
He highlighted the capital improvement projects over the last four years, saying a a fence was moved in 2021; a water slide was installed in 2022; no projects were completed in 2023; and they have a plan for money saved through 2024.
Lawrence said the cabana project is the next planned project for the pool board.
