cvannoyThe annual Holiday Open House at Trail End State Historic Site will be held on December 6, 7, and 8, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. According to site superintendent Sharie Shada, this has been annual Sheridan tradition for over forty years!
The event features live music, figgy pudding and hot cider in the kitchen, and holiday decorations throughout the spectacular 1913 Kendrick Mansion. You can even visit with Father Christmas himself!
Admission is four dollars for adults. Children are admitted at no charge, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Tickets are NOT required in advance.
One of the most popular aspects of Trail End’s Holiday Open House over the past several years has been the presence of our very own Father Christmas. The Big Man in Red will be at the mansion during the entire event to listen to Christmas wishes from children of all ages.
There is a special for Friday night only! Shana Marie Moments Photography will be here to take complimentary photos of you and yours with Father Christmas. You’ll be able to download the photos from her website after the event!
Our bevy of musical guests begin their performances at 4:00 and continue through 7:00. If there is a particular performer you would like to hear, be sure and arrive early to get a good seat! Some of the musical talent includes Jane Perkins and Terry Garrison, Guitar and vocals on Dec. 6; Just Harmony, A Capella Singers on Dec. 7 at 4 p.m.; and Belles of the Bighorns at 5 and 5:30 on December 8.
