News ReleaseOn the evening of Sunday, November 24, 2024, Ranchester Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 600 block of Heather Street.
Crews were dispatched at approximately 9:10 PM and arrived to find fire visible from the garage of a residential home.
Fortunately, the occupants had safely evacuated prior to the arrival of emergency personnel.
Ranchester Fire worked diligently alongside mutual aid partners, including Dayton Fire, Sheridan Fire and Rescue, Sheridan Regional EMS, and the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office, to bring the fire under control.
The collaborative efforts of all agencies ensured the safety of the community and the protection of nearby structures.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
