Sheridan College Theater & Dance have combined the many talents of their programs to create a production titled “A Seat at the Table.”
This production is a physical theater piece that draws on interviews with people connected to each member of the class, exploring journeys taken in life. The show is the brainchild of Sheridan College Theater Instructor Lauren Graffin Estrada and Dance Instructor Stephanie Koltiska and is entirely based around these interviews, developed into a piece about connection, the importance of talking, what it means to live a life with honor and the things that lead people to their destination.
Koltiska said the choreography of the production comes from the deep meanings of each story.
