Aaron PalmerAs part of their Consent Agenda during their recent meeting, Sheridan County’s Commissioners ratified a Master License Agreement, and a License Agreement between the county and Milan and Kara Schreibeis for a bored crossing installation of a water line at County Road #161, Dutch Creek Road.
According to the agreement paperwork, the 60-foot bored crossing will be for a water line from an existing well to a ranch house on the property.
The fee charged by the county is $150 for the crossing, and $.25 per foot for the boring under the road at 60 feet, or $15, for a total charge of $165.
Also ratified was a License Agreement with Montana-Dakota Utilities for a bored crossing installation of an underground power line at County Road #87, Beaver Creek Road, which was exempted from fees.

The Brooks St. Boondoggle and taxpayer-funded Flowerpot may prove to be the Board’s undoing.
That huge waste of our money will usher in even more conservative and fiscally responsible commissioners in the future.
The darn thing even has heated sidewalks for pity’s sake.
Who do we think we are Aspen, Colorado or maybe Jackson Hole?
Maybe we’ve finally gotten too big for our britches and should start calling it ‘Sheridan Hole.”
(as in the huge drain hole where all our tax money is poured down)
