Chamber extends Manufacturing Day to last all October

The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce has stretched Manufacturing Day into Manufacturing Month.  

Manufacturing Day is a nationally recognized day that allows students, parents, and the public at large an opportunity to tour the buildings of many local manufacturers in the Sheridan and Buffalo areas and learn just how they produce products of all kinds.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Program Development Director Teresa Detimore said the extension of the time frame has worked well.

During the duration of the month of October, anyone can check the schedule and take a tour of the facility being offered on that date. Detimore said the classes have the chance to see the employment opportunities right here in the region.
