Update on Buffalo Main Street Project for October 6

The Wyoming Department of Transportation, (WYDOT), has issued the latest update on the Buffalo Main Street Project for the week of October 6.

In Phase 3, North Main Street, paving from French Creek Bridge north to Rock Creek Road will continue with traffic control in place.

Paving is expected to be completed by Monday, October 7.

WYDOT asks motorists to be mindful that the lanes are quite narrow and be aware of reduced speed and bringing trailers through this portion of the project.

The Exit 56A off-ramp on I-90will be closed from Tuesday, October 8 through Thursday, October 10.

Drivers can use Exit 56B onto I-25 and then Exit 299 onto Hart Street.

All paving for this section of the project is expected to be completed by Friday, October 11.

A public meeting to discuss the scope and schedule for the remainder of the project, Phases 4 and 5 in 2025, is set for Monday, October 28 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Johnson County Fire Hall, located at 790 Volunteer Lane in Buffalo.
