The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) issued a release giving the latest information on the Buffalo Main Street Project for the week of September 30.

On Phase 3, North Main Street, paving continues from the French Creek Bridge to Rock Creek Road with traffic control in place.

Work will continue on the southbound lane through that section over the next 10 days.

These lanes are quite narrow, so motorists are asked to be aware of reduced speed and asked to be mindful of bringing trailers through that zone.

Traffic using the eastbound I-90 off ramp, Exit 56A, can expect several Stop Signs and a flagger at the bottom of the ramp.

Drivers are asked to obey signage and flaggers’ guidance for safety.

Milling and paving of the eastbound I-90 off ramp, Exit 56A, is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 8, and traffic will be detoured to Exit 56B.

Main Street from Hart Street to French Creek Bridge is expected to be fully open this week.

Key approaches to businesses and side streets remain accessible but may be limited for short periods to accommodate paving, with all paving scheduled to be completed by October 11.

The Public Meeting to discuss the schedule for and the scope on the next phase of work is scheduled for Monday, October 28 at the Johnson County Fire Hall at 790 Volunteer Lane beginning at 5:30 p.m.
