Aaron PalmerDuring their regular meeting this week, the Buffalo City Council reviewed a proposal and agreement between the city and Interstate Engineering to provide services to the city.
Mayor Shane Schrader explained what services the firm will be performing.
According to discussion at the meeting, the agreement specifies a not-to-exceed payment to the firm of $153,000 for the services and can be terminated at any time if a city planner is found and hired.
Mayor Schrader said in a separate interview that Current Building Inspector/Planner Terry Asay will be concentrating his efforts on inspections and code enforcement.
The council approved and accepted the agreement.
