Sheridan County Sheriff asks public to remain out of danger areas

Sheridan County Sheriff Levi Dominguez made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to alert the public to the fires that are currently being battled in Sheridan and Johnson Counties. 

Dominguez and Jonhson County Sheriff Rod Odenbach have briefed each other on the fires in their respective counties and the offices are working together to ensure the safety of the public. 

The Sheridan County Sheriff said the House Draw Fire in Johnson County has grown considerably in a short period of time. A volunteer evacuation notice  has been in place for Clearmont and Arvada.

With multiple fires in the region, the Sheriff said resources are being stretched to battle the blazes. Sheridan’s Remington Fire is located in terrain that is adding another challenge for firefighters.
