Montana State House Candidate From Crow Agency Facing Sex Crime Charges

The Republican candidate in one of the races for the Montana State House of Representatives, has been accused of committing a number sex crimes.

Forty-five year old Dean Allen Wallowing Bull has pleaded not guilty in Montana Federal Court to charges of sexual abuse and attempted sexual abuse.

According to KTVQ-TV and the US Attorney’s Office in Montana, the incidents happened as far back as 2008, and as recently as 2021.

If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison.

Wallowing Bull ran unopposed in the June primary election in Montana House District 41, which includes a portion of both Crow Reservation and the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation.

Jade Sootkis is his Democratic opponent in the upcoming General Election.
