Hunter education classes offered in Buffalo, Sheridan and Hulett

Wyoming Game and Fish Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt has announced three hunter education classes are being offered in Buffalo, Sheridan and Hulett in the coming weeks.
The Buffalo and Sheridan classes are internet completion courses. These are classes for students who have completed the online hunter education course and need the in-person internet completion course to finalize their certification. Students must bring their certificate of completion from the online course to the class.
The Buffalo internet completion course will be held 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Johnson County Fire District office at 709 Volunteer Ln.
The Sheridan internet completion course will be held 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Sheridan County Sportsmen’s Association at 89 Keystone Rd.
The Hulett course is a traditional, in-person class. It will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day on Sept. 20 and 21, at Hulett City Hall. Students must attend both days to earn their hunter safety certificate. WYG&F is asking that participants please bring $10 cash to the first day of class. At the end of Saturday’s class there will be a live fire session at the shooting range in Hulett. Students should wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
