Ron RichterOfficials with the City of Sheridan recently received an update from City Arborist Clark Van Hoosier. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The warm, dry winter has had a negative impact on the trees throughout Sheridan. City Arborist Clark Van Hoosier said there has been a widespread decline of the trees in the community because of the recent winter.
Van Hoosier said the winter also had an impact on the young trees in Sheridan.
Van Hoosier said the three species of trees that experienced large dieback from the dry winter were the Siberian Elm, Poplar and Green Ash.
