An invitation for bids on the removal of approximately 4,000 square feet of parking lot asphalt and replacing with approximately four inches of new asphalt went out on July 17.
The project is located north of the Sheridan County Courthouse at the corner of W. Burkitt St. and S. Brooks St. Sheridan County Commissioner Tom Ringley said the existing asphalt has been repaired many times and is past its lifespan. Although close to the current Brooks St. Project, the two are not connected.

Although concrete has a longer lifespan, Commissioner Christi Haswell said the cost of the harder material was too high.
Sealed bids will be received at the Sheridan County Commissioner’s Office at, 224 S. Main Street, Suite B-1, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801 until 3 p.m. on July 26, 2024.
