During their Consent Agenda portion of their last meeting, the Sheridan County Commission voted to approve the compensation agreement between the county and the University of Wyoming.

According to the agreement, the county extension professional, Emily Swinyer, will assist and encourage the development of 4-H Youth Development programming.

Both the University and the county contribute to the salary for the position, for a total compensation of just over $43,200.

Sheridan County will contribute roughly $21,100 in four installments of just over $6,030 in October, 2024; and in January, March, and June of 2025.
