JCHC Chief of Staff Reports Busy Month of June

Johnson County Healthcare Center Chief of Staff Dr. Jennifer Rice, in her report to the hospital board, said it was busy month of June, with moving in to the new facilities in the clinic and relocating physical therapy.

She said overall it has been given the approval by patients, but some were still trying to enter through the old entrance.

She said there are still some minor issues that need to be addressed in the new area, but expects they will be dealt with soon.

The walk-in clinic has been busy and they are working to get coverage for the extra volume.

Vacation season has started but other providers and staff have stepped up to cover as needed, and she expects that to continue through the summer months.
