WYDOT to Give STIP Presentation to Sheridan Commission Tuesday

Aaron PalmerThe Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) will give a report on their latest Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) to the Sheridan County Commission at their meeting Tuesday morning.
According to transit.dot.gov, each state is required to develop a statewide transportation improvement program (STIP) covering a period of at least four years. The STIP is a staged, multi-year, statewide inter-modal program of transportation projects, consistent with the statewide transportation plan and planning processes.
Also on the agenda for the commission is the consideration of a number of catering permits for events through the summer at the Big Horn Equestrian Center; ratification of an agreement for audit services and the contribution for extension personnel; consideration of a campground and a polo and guest ranch Conditional Use Permits; and consideration of approval for the North Sheridan Land Company quarry.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning in the Second Floor Board Room, #220 in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
The meeting is open to the public.
