The Wyoming Game and Fish has reported that the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) watercraft inspection stations are operating with expanded summer hours in the Sheridan Region.
The department wishes to remind the public that from March 1 through Nov. 30, all watercraft entering Wyoming must be inspected prior to launching. Watercraft operators must also stop whenever they encounter an open check station on their route of travel.
Wyoming Game and Fish Sheridan Region Aquatic Invasive Species Specialist Reed Moore said it does not take long for the two species of concern to spread.
