Aaron PalmerAt the last Buffalo City Council meeting, Police Chief Sean Bissett gave three individuals the Good Citizenship Award for their actions that saved a historic downtown building from extensive fire damage.
Bissett explained that the City of Buffalo was giving the awards to Ray and Laurie Hubbard of Lolly’s Sugar Shack, and Jaren Olsen, who works at the Busy Bee Cafe, “in recognition of their extraordinary bravery and quick actions that saved the Busy Bee and Occidental Hotel from a devastating fire.”
Bissett explained further.
Bissett added that “their exemplary behavior serves as an inspiration to all and underscores the importance of vigilance and community spirit.”
