Aaron PalmerBuffalo’s City Council, at their regular meeting Tuesday evening, approved their annual appropriation, or budget Ordinance, on its third and final reading.
The Ordinance, #1417, approves a roughly $17.6 million budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25.
According to the Ordinance, General City expenses are set at about $633,000; Capital Improvements at $9.2 million; Protective Services at $2.3 million; Water at $1.7 million; street budget at $1.2 million; wastewater at $733,000; sanitation at $664,000; recreation budget at $427,000; outside agencies and affiliates at $418,000; and miscellaneous equipment at $288,000.
There were no changes in the Ordinance from the second reading.
