Buffalo Council OKs Mural Repair Contract

A contract to repair the city-owned mural on the Margo’s Pottery Building has been approved and accepted by the Buffalo City Council.

City Attorney Dennis Kirven explained that the agreement, which will be between the city and Aaron and Jenny Wuerker and Marchel Kelley, has a minimum bid of $5,510 and a maximum bid of $9,345.

He gave more details.

City Building Inspector Terry Asay asked the council to approve the $2,500 payment for the deposit immediately so work could get started on the mural as soon as possible.

The council approved the amendment for the deposit and the contract itself.
