Johnson County Accepts Contract for Land Use Plan

During their last regular meeting, Johnson County’s Commissioners discussed the latest draft of the contract with Y2 Consultants of Jackson for them to update the county’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan.

County Deputy Attorney Barry Crago had been in negotiations with Y2 on differences within the contract, and finally had a final draft to bring before the commission during their last meeting.

The commissionvoted to approve and accept the contract with Y2 Consultants.

Work on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan update is expected to begin this spring.

The contract with Y2 Consulting is for a not-to-exceed amount of $109,000.
