JCTA Gives Update at City/County Meeting

The end of April and beginning of May were reported to be busy for the Johnson County Tourism Association, according to Board President Jody Sauers, who updated both the Buffalo City Council and Johnson County Commission at the last city/county meeting.

Sauers said their new website is close to being completed, and spoke about events JCTA members attended during the end of the month.

Sauers was asked about preliminary visitor numbers during this past winter season compared to others.

She said numbers were not down as far as many felt they were, with the estimate being about 5% down this year.
