Ron RichterAcceptance of a quitclaim deed for realignment of 12th Street in Sheridan was an item of discussion at the recent study session of the Sheridan City Council. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer provided the Council and Mayor Rich Bridger with the details of the quitclaim deed.
Mercer said Sheridan County has done their part in approving the quitclaim deed on the County property near the Police Department where the proposed Police Park would be located.
Mercer said the Police Park would be approximately 5,500 square feet of greenspace and would include cherry trees, park benches and a small pathway. The acceptance of the quitclaim deed is expected to be an agenda item at an upcoming City Council meeting.
