Aaron PalmerAt their meeting April 16, Johnson County’s Commissioners voted to set the election districts, precincts, and polling palces for the next two years.
County Clerk Jackie Camino brought Resolution No. 721 before the commissioners for their consideration.
The list approved by the commission is eight districts, 16 precincts, and three polling places:
Precinct 3-1, NW Buffalo, Catholic Rec Hall
3-2, W Central Buffalo, Rec Hall
3-3, NE Buffalo, Rec Hall
3-8, W Buffalo, Rec Hall
4-7, Oliver, Rec Hall
3-4, SW Buffalo, Bomber Mountain Civic Center
3-5, E Buffalo, Civic Center
3-6, SE Buffalo, Civic Center
3-7, SW Buffalo, Civic Center
4-8, Bighorns, Civic Center
5-9, Billy Creek, Civic Center
2-14, Piney/Shell, Civic Center
10-15, Tipperary, Civic Center
6-10, Kaycee, Harold Jarrad Park
8-11, Middle Fork, HJP
9-12, Sussex, HJP
Absentee voting for all districts and precincts as well as the counting center will be at the County Clerk’s Office at the Historic Courthouse.
There were no changes to the list from 2022.
