cvannoyThe Sheridan Community Land Trust has announced that its Explore History program for April will be “All Aboard! Sheridan County’s Railroad History.”
SCLT History Program Manager Kevin Knapp will be your conductor as we ride the rails for a program all about the rich railroad history of Sheridan County. You’ll learn all about the water stops, corrals, and the towns that sprang up around them as the railroad made its way to our patch of the High Plains, bringing with people, jobs, and modernity. No need to see the ticket clerk before boarding, the fare is FREE!
This Explore History program offers open conversation for community members to share their memories or historical information about these sites and events.
Note the change in the dates, as the April Explore History will be held on:
Tuesday, April 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon., at the TRVCC in Dayton.
And again on Tuesday, April 23, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at The Hub on Smith in Sheridan.
Explore History is free to attend and open to all. For more information, visit https://sheridanclt.org/events.
