Ron RichterThe Sheridan City Council were recently provided with some statistics on one of Sheridan’s nonprofit agencies. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
It has become the norm for the various nonprofit agencies that receive General Purpose Excise Tax dollars from the City of Sheridan to give an update before the City Council on their organization. Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue has a mission to rescue and rehabilitate special-needs cats, provide free and low-cost spay/neuter services to the local community, and assist people who need help keeping their pets during difficult life situations. Second Chance Executive Director Rachel Kristiansen recently gave a presentation before the Council regarding their activity from March of 2023 to March of 2024.
Kristiansen talked about the number of cats that were taken in by Second Chance.
Kristiansen highlighted the low-cost spay/neuter services they provide to the community.
