Lead teacher and founder of WYO Play, Grace Cannon-Wallace made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to invite the community to the Sheridan Junior High School’s performance of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

The tragic story of a Prince of Denmark, Hamlet was Shakespeare’s longest play. The play has been abridged by the director of the production, Heather Bujans, to fit within an approximate 90 minute time frame.

Written by the renowned William Shakespeare sometime between 1599 and 1601, the play is set in Denmark and tells the story of Prince Hamlet’s attempts to avenge the murder of his father by his uncle, Claudius, who has murdered Hamlet’s father to seize his throne and marry Hamlet’s mother.
