cvannoyThe Fourth Annual Quilt show at the Clearmont Historical Center wrapped up on April 1. Sandy Hirz, acting director of the Center, talked about this year’s show.
Visitors to the show who signed the Center’s guest book were from all around the immediate area, as well as Montana, Oregon and Massachusetts.
“We had people from one coast to the other,” Hirz said.
Clearmont Historical Group President Robert Prusak added that it was a great show this year.
Visitors were encouraged to comment on the quilts.
“Wonderful show. Glad you had the space to expand the show.”
“Such beautiful quilts, Love reading the backgrounds.”
“Fun to read the stories behind the quilts.”
“Wonderful show, Great job Ladies.”
Most are from around the Clearmont area, but this year one quilter came from Casper to display her quilts.
Hirz talked about some of the upcoming events that the Center and the Historical Group will be focusing on for the upcoming summer.
She added that they are excited to see if next year’s show is going to live up to the one this year. “We are pretty close to full this year,” she said.
