A large crowd of youngsters, parents and grandparents attended the Annual Clearmont Easter Egg hunt put on by the Clear Creek Recreation District, (CCRD). In spite of the cloudy, chilly day, the youngsters found eggs on the lawn of the Arvada-Clearmont School and inside the recreation district building.

Amy Rowe, Rec District, talked about the number of eggs that the CCRD hid throughout the two areas.

One small guest, Paycee Todd, added that about the Easter Egg Hunt.

One of the youngsters was the granddaughter of Melanie Thomas Klier, who, with her husband, Steve Klier, run the Leiter Bar and Cafe. She said this is their third year at the Easter Egg hunt, and she talked about her granddaughter and the upcoming events at Leiter Bar and Cafe.

Sixty-one prizes were given out to lucky winners in the drawing, and many eggs were collected by the youngsters in bags and buckets.
