Aaron PalmerBuffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, in his report to the city council at their last meeting, thanked residents for their help on social media that aided in the location of two local girls that were suspected of taking a vehicle and running away.
Bissett again thanked the generous donors that donated funds to purchase needed armored vests that police officers recently received and have added to their dailyuniforms.
Bissett also reported thatas of the end of February, dispatch received 2,293 total calls, 171 that came into 9-1-1.
Officers responded to five hundred and fifty-nine calls, resulting in five arrests, two of which were DUIs.
