Celebration of Life for UW Swimmers March 6

A celebration of life is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, at 6 pm in the University of Wyoming’s Arena-Auditorium to honor Charlie Clark, Luke Slabber and Carson Muir, the three UW swimmers who died in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 287 about 10 miles south of the Wyoming-Colorado border February 22. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and it is open to the public.

Speakers at the celebration of life will include Governor Mark Gordon, UW President Ed Seidel, Director of Athletics Tom Burman, Head Coach Dave Denniston and swimming and diving student-athletes. Aaron Frude of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes also will speak. The celebration of life will be streamed on the Mountain West Network and be available on gowyo.com.
