Beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday March 9, at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall, the 4-H Carnival will offer concession, games and a traditional cakewalk.
Sheridan County 4-H offers young people an opportunity to learn and grow through hands-on projects in areas like science, health, agriculture and civic engagement. All 4-H programs offer mentoring and career readiness as core components. The Sheridan County 4-H program also offers shooting sports giving kids the opportunity to travel the state to test their knowledge and accuracy.
Sheridan County is rooted in agriculture and Kincaid said she is always amazed at the support the Sheridan County community offers to support programs that continue to teach young kids those rich traditions.
