Aaron PalmerState Representative Barry Crago (R-House District 40) is in Cheyenne for the 2024 Legislative Budget Session and will be talking with Sheridan Media during the weeks he is in session.
Crago, in an earlier story, spoke about the gap of roughly $900 million in the two budget proposals from the Wyoming Senate and the House, and about what the House had in their budget the Senate did not, such as projects at the Veterans Home of Wyoming and the Wyoming Girls School.
Today he gives more details on two projects.
Crago said the Girls School project is tearing down some old facilities that are no longer useful.
Crago said the conference committee, usually made up of members of each chamber’s Joint Appropriations Committee, will now have to reach a compromise on the two budgets that are currently not in line with each other.
The committee will be working the numbers this week.
We will have more from Representative Crago in upcoming stories.
