Sheridan County has a new postage meter supplied by a new company, and at a savings to the county.

The county commission, at their last regular meeting, considered and approved a lease agreement for a new postage meter with Quadient Leasing USA, Inc. of Milford, Connecticut.

Administrative Director Cameron Duff discussed why a new postage meter agreement was needed.

Duff said the meters have similar features, but the machine through Quadient Leasing will be cheaper to lease, at just under $298 per month.

So they can approve a new postal meter, but not a critically important Board member replacement.? Misplaced priorities.
The “Failed Four” refused to follow the law and “select from one of three nominees” to fill the vacant seat, last summer. They acted as judges of “qualifications”, when that had already been done by the voters and the Republican Central Committee.
What the four failed commissioners did was fail to abide by the law and honor the will of the voters and the 100-member precinct committee people. When public servants violate our Trust and the Law, they should be removed from office.
