Wyoming Medical Society President Speaks on COVID-19 Crisis

Wyoming Medical Society President Dr. David Wheeler spoke at a news conference held Monday by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon on the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Wheeler encouraged his colleagues around the state to implement some changes to prepare for the possible influx of patients in the coming weeks.
Dr. Wheeler said that Wyoming’s healthcare system isn’t equipped to handle a high volume of patients over a short period of time.
Dr. Wheeler said that the Wyoming Medical Society vigorously supports any and all efforts at the national, state, and local levels, to encourage everybody to stay safely in their own homes.

I am a scared worker. I work in retail and see lots of Sheridan people shopping with their kids still and they are purchasing a lot of non essential items. It’s great for our store sales. But am worried on whom has the virus and whom doesn’t. I can’t afford to get sick I am high risk and I cannot miss work due to bills. I wish there could be better awareness on the people in sheridan taking this more serious. Can you as media help spread the word it is serious even here in Sheridan
