Why are all of Wyoming’s county commissions composed of an odd number of people? To preclude a tie vote. So when the 29 Aug meeting had an even # of 4 people voting; a tie vote was possible. The chairperson testified it could be 2-1-1 and no quorum; or a 2-2 tie. What she failed to add was it could also be a 4-0 or 3-1 vote. So out of four possible voting outcomes, three of them would have filled the vacancy. (there’s no quorum required, the most votes gets selected.) So with four people doing a straight-up, simple, voice vote, there’s a 75% chance of success! Why didn’t you do that?
With only a 1 in 4 chance of failure, why not at least try?
Obvious answer is they planned to fail.
Or they neglected to use the correct procedure or they were just dumb. Which is it commissioners? Why did you all Fail to Fill the Vacancy? None of you are Dumb, are you? So it must be either you designed a plan to Fail or you Neglected to do your due diligence and choose a voting method that would succeed? And why just one failed vote and quit….mission Failed! The good citizens of Sheridan County deserve and are waiting, for an answer.

Remember, it wasn’t the break-in at the Watergate Hotel, that took Nixon down…it was the Cover-up. Did all Four of the commissioners who Failed to select 1 of the 3 nominees, tell the full truth in court?
    Is there something they’re hiding?
Can the Judge pierce the Executive session privacy veil, for causes like conspiracy?
“Tis better to Resign with some Honor, than to be Removed… with none.”
