Clear Creek Revival Valentine Concert Draws Good Crowd

On Valentine’s Day, February 14, Clearmont School’s Clear Creek Revival band held a fundraising supper and concert in the multi-purpose room at the Arvada-Clearmont School. A good crowd attended the concert.
Music teacher Gerry Chase talked about the musical students, and the fundraiser.
The band performed several songs for the crowd, while they enjoyed the spaghetti supper. The second half of the concert was a sing-along, with lyrics being displayed on a large screen for the audience to join in. Songs included Love Me Tender, L-O-V-E and Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire, which had good audience participation.
Chase also talked about the Kinser Jazz Festival that the students attended at Casper College on February 5.
“I am so very proud of these young people and their ability to listen to each other and perform music together,” A/C Music Teacher Gerry Chase added about the Jazz Festival.
