Radio Ink, a radio-industry trade magazine published 12 times a year for the radio management sector of the radio broadcasting industry, recently recognised Sheridan Media’s Julie Chadwick for her work in the digital marketing fields.

Chadwick has worked at Sheridan Media since 2008. At the time General Manager Bob Grammans was looking to “dip the toe” of the multimedia company into the digital world by developing online auctions.

The auctions were a hit. This led the budding digital platform at Sheridan Media to begin creating digital promotions. Printed ads and radio promotions are passive promotions; potential customers see and hear the ad. With the dawn of the digital ad, customers were now being invited to engage and be entertained like never before.

As with so much in the day-to-day world, the digital universe transformed the manner in which many people live and interact with the world around them and changed the way business would be conducted.

Chadwick is now the Digital Marketing Director for Sheridan Media and has spent the last 15 years of her career in digital sales, helping to lead the way in an ever evolving field.

Recently recognized alongside her colleagues from much larger markets in Denver CO, Las Vegas NV, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles CA, to name a few, Chadwick appreciates her work with Sheridan Media being recognized by such a prestigious industry magazine, but admits she’s more comfortable behind the scenes working to remain in the forefront of an ever changing digital marketing field.
