Aaron PalmerAt their recent meeting, the Sheridan County Commission, during their Public Comment part of their agenda, listened to Carl Clements who talked about the intent to adopt new rules and regulations concerning leases at the county airport.
He discussed concerns on previous leases, the types of businesses that are leasing property, how and why they were granted leases and asked the commission to review their criteria for allowing the leases.
He then addressed the proposed changes to the rules and regulations.
Clements reminded the commission that when they speak in public, whether it is a personal opinion or an actual stance of the commission, it is perceived as the “voice of the commission.”
Commission Chairwoman Christi Haswell asked Clements to provide his notes to the commission for them to review, which he did.
